Twelve.

Photo challenge - Day 12: A picture of somewhere you would like to travel.

Another difficult question! I've been so blessed to have lived overseas, but there are still SO many places I would love to go to!

*Italy
*Ireland
*Germany (Would love to see the city I was born in)
*Austria (I don't remember much of it)
*Spain
*Switzerland
*France
*Russia
*Go back to Oman
*Australia

Let's just say everywhere :) I love to travel, even going on short road trips are exciting!
I would love to explore more of the United States. I was lucky enough to go to Yellowstone this past summer. It really was incredible, and I would go again in a heartbeat.

So it's another Tuesday, which means TILT! Things I love Tuesday

*First snowfall of the year
*Road-trips
*Animals doing funny/crazy things
*A very clean house
*Christmas lights
*Smiles :)

Tomorrow is the last day of November! I hope everyone is ready for the Christmas holiday! It's coming up fast!

Day 11

The Christmas decorations are out, the Christmas tree is up, and the Christmas music is playing! Last year, Riley kept climbing into the tree. He keeps eyeing it today, and has been trying to get closer to it. I hope he doesn't try to climb it this year. We'll see.   :)

My all time favorite Christmas song is "O'Holy Night." I absolutely love Jackie Evancho's version. She has such an incredible voice. I will have to download her Christmas album. I also really love Michael Buble's "Ave Maria," and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)."

What is your favorite Christmas song?

It looks like we have a chance of snow flurries tomorrow night! I can't wait for it to start snowing!

Day 10

30 Day Photo Challenge -

Day 10 - A picture of something you wish you were better at.

Haha, this is a very difficult one, because there are TOO many things I wish I were better at.

1) Math
2) Styling my hair
3) Running
4) Art (drawing, photography, painting)

I won't post a picture just because there is no point. Plus, I added extra things, so that makes up for that. :)

Black Friday

I've spent this black Friday relaxing & cleaning since we just got back from our trip! Thank goodness I decided to skip out on the shopping today since there have been attacks & riots at different stores. I don't think that would be much fun. :/

I realize I have been too busy to keep up with the 30 day photo challenge, so I'll just start back up today and post #9.

Day 9 - A picture of your favorite day.

Our wedding day! April 17, 2009.   :)

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope everyone had a fun & safe day!

Nathan and I spent this past week down in Charleston with my parents & my brother. We spent our time by going to the beach, downtown, and relaxing. Riley came along with us on our trip, and had a fun time playing (aka-terrorizing) my parent's dog Xander. ;)
Unfortunately, we had to leave today, but we still had a wonderful time. Plus, we were able to have a delicious dinner before we left. *YUM*

Here are a few pictures from our vacation -

Relaxing on Thanksgiving Day:

No Black Friday shopping for us this year, we are exhausted.
Now that we are back home, it is time to get out all of our winter & Christmas decorations!! :)

Anyway, everyone be safe, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

Catching Up!

Photo Challenge - I have to catch up!

Day 5: A picture of something you love.

I love our cat, Riley. He has the sweetest personality, and he plays fetch with my hair ties. :)

Day 6: A picture of something you hate.

Ugh! I absolutely hate creepy crawly bugs, spiders, and other gross little insects. I can't stand them!!

Day 7: A picture of your favorite band or artist.

Well, my computer decided to stop working correctly. Currently my favorite artist is Adele. I think she has a unique sound, and a great voice. I listen to her music a lot (at the moment). My tastes in music are constantly changing. I pretty much enjoy all types of music, but I go through phases of favorites.

Finally, I am caught up with the photo challenge! :)

We have been busy with Thanksgiving holiday plans. It is hard to believe that it is only 6 days away!!

Things I love Tuesday!

Days 3 & 4 Photo Challenge:

Day 3 - A picture of your favorite memory -

In October 2008, Nathan re-proposed to me downtown Charleston. We were with our Mom's, showing them around downtown, when he wanted to show them where he proposed to me originally. We got to our spot, and he acted out how he proposed to me, but also pulled out a ring! It is hard to surprise me, but he did! Our Mom's knew about it the whole time, and I was clueless. It was romantic and sweet! <3

Day 4: A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day -

I don't have a picture for this, because I don't have an interest to trade places with anyone (not even for a day). I have a great life, and have had the best experiences. I love being me!

Anyway, back to my "Things I Love Tuesdays!

*Quiet mornings with a LOT of coffee * Riley playing with my hair ties *Sunshine * Days off with my husband * Painting my nails *Meeting new people *Scrabble
These are just a few of my favorite things. It's a great mood booster to write down things that I enjoy. :)

Also, it is a new week - which means another thing I am thankful for. I am thankful for the time I have shared with family & friends, the time I have right now, and the time I have left. The time we have left makes life even more valuable. Life is precious!

Family

14 days till Thanksgiving!!!

This week, I want to share how thankful I am for my family (friends = family as well). The family I've always been a part of, and my "new" family that welcomed me when I married Nathan. Words cannot express how wonderful, and supportive our family members are. We always enjoy spending time with them, and wish we could visit with everyone more.

Updates on us-
Well, there is not much going on here with us this past week. We have been busy organizing, and donating things since we have halted our other projects. Who knew a house would be so much work! LOL.
Thanksgiving day will mark our one year anniversary of living in our house. It's very hard to believe that it has been a year since we moved in. Wow.

On a different note:
I have been fortunate enough to FINALLY get my teeth fixed this past week! It's very exciting to have a brand new smile. Just thought I would share my joy!

Enjoy the rest of this week!

Thankful

November has finally arrived! I love the month of November, because it helps remind me of all of my blessings.
Each week during November, I would like to post at least one thing I am thankful for.
For this post, I want to share that I am thankful for having the opportunity to make a difference, and help others.
Speaking of being able to make a difference & help others, I would LOVE to use my 25th Birthday (next month) as an opportunity to contribute to a few organizations that I am passionate about.
If I receive any money for my Birthday, I would like to dedicate it to: The Humane Society (Knoxville), Create Jobs for USA, and St. Jude. If you were planning on getting me a Birthday gift, I would prefer to have you donate to one of these three listed organizations.

I am truly blessed, and am lucky to have so much to be thankful for. The greatest Birthday present would be knowing that I can and have been able to help others. Of course, if there are other organizations that you feel you want to donate to, that is just as wonderful! I am passionate about making a difference, and feel that right now, I would like to help those organizations.
Thank you for reading this idea of mine - and thank you for even considering it.

I also would like to mention that any commission I make before Christmas with Thirty-One Gifts, I would like to donate 50% of my commission that I make to those organizations. It may not be a lot, but every little bit helps!

Again, thank you for all of your love and support!!
