HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

I'm looking forward to passing out candy to all the kids this evening! I really enjoy seeing all the different costumes, especially the cute babies! I hope everyone is having a fun & safe Halloween so far.
We have had a great time celebrating this month & Halloween.

Poor Nathan won't get to dress up in any costumes this year. Maybe next year!

I am a bit sad that time is going by so quickly. Tomorrow will be the beginning of November (which we are also looking forward to), but October is just so much fun!

Next is Thanksgiving!! Anyone have any awesome plans? Any special recipes or traditions to share? 

I was doing some shopping earlier (surprise), and I'm shocked at all of the Christmas stuff that is out! I don't know what is going on, but I enjoy celebrating ALL of the holidays. It seems like they bring out Christmas decorations earlier and earlier each year. Although, I must admit, I am excited to sing Christmas carols, drink eggnog, decorate ginger bread houses, etc.    :p 

Shame on me, I know.

We've been enjoying the Halloween festivities this month, as you can tell. :) We went up to the Devil's Triangle on Wednesday - and the leaves are absolutely gorgeous!!

We haven't had the chance to have our costume competition, but that will come soon!!

It's officially FALL SEASON!

We love October. It's the month for scary movies, pumpkin carving, and costumes! (& Pumpkin Spice Latte's of course).

Update on our house:

Now that summer is over, and it is getting chilly - we are halting our outside house projects.
We still have plenty of tile left over from our previous projects. We are thinking of tiling the upstairs guest bathroom as our Winter house project. So much to do, so little time.
