2016!!
2016 has finally arrived! New Years is always exciting because it means everything is off to a fresh start! There is a chance to make new goals and dreams. :)
Nathan and I had plans to hang out with good friends to bring in the New Year, however, we both woke up sick on New Years Eve. :( Nathan had been sick off and on earlier this month, and I thought I was doing good staying away from getting sick, alas, it finally caught up to me. Needless to say, our night was resting up and eating chicken noodle soup.
Every year, I hear people state what goals they have for the new year, and their plans to reach those goals. Some people only have one or a few goals, and others have tons of goals! Of course, I have lots of goals and dreams that I would love to accomplish, but I don't consider them all to be my New Years goals.
Of course one of my main goals is to try to be healthier. I no longer focus on just losing weight, but instead I work on feeling healthier and stronger. I received a new juicer for Christmas, which will be perfect for my health goal! I'm not very good at getting enough veggies and fruits, so I'm hoping the juicer will help put an end to that!
Almost two years ago, I cut out sodas. It's crazy because I still crave soda EVERY SINGLE DAY. I guess that is how dependent I was on them. :/
I figure if I can give up soda, I can also give up other things that are just as bad for my body.
Overall, I'm just excited for all the new adventures, challenges, that God brings my way! Life is a journey, and I'm along for the ride! :)
