Friday night Nathan and I went out to try a new place, called K-Town Tavern! It's basically right down the road from us, so it's awesome to have a place nearby to go hang out! We split a barbecue chicken pizza and some beer. Nathan ordered the 32 oz! Wow that thing was massive! I tried drinking from it, and it definitely required two hands. LOL!
After Home Depot, we were starving, so we headed over to O'Charley's for lunch. I love the variety of food that O'Charley's offers. I never have a difficult time finding something that sounds good! :) I went with a cobb salad (minus the cheese and croutons) and substituted the blue cheese dressing for balsamic. It was delicious! I've definitely been on a salad kick recently, so it hit the spot!
Did you know if you go on Wednesdays, you can get a free slice of pie?!? Say what?!
After lunch, I dragged Nathan to one of my favorite stores - T.J. Maxx. ;) Of course, I always find great deals. I couldn't resist this adorable Easter sugar bowl, so it came home with me as well as some new Spring clothes! Now it's time to get out all the other Easter decorations!
After completing a lot of chores around the house, we ran back out for some Sweet Frog! Yum! Sweet Frog is my favorite frozen yogurt place, they have the best flavors! Usually I stick with my favorite, cake batter, but this time I mixed in some cherry frozen yogurt! I know that may be weird, but I'm not a "topper" person. I like to keep it simple and stick with just the frozen yogurt. This time, however, I did add little whip cream and a cherry on top. :)
Sunday was another fantastic and gorgeous day! We ran out to run some errands and took our time cruising around, enjoying the sunshine.
We sat outside the majority of the day, enjoying our rare weekend off together! I had my Canon 60d and took some pictures of the birds in the backyard. It was a perfect weekend!
Question Time:
* What did you do this weekend?
* Do you prefer real flowers/plants or fake ones?
* Which flavor of frozen yogurt/ice-cream is your favorite?
