Easy Peasy - Grocery Pickup

Alright guys, I have to tell you how ecstatic I am about Walmart's new grocery pickup!! If you haven't tried it yet, you really need to! Plus, it is FREE. How often is it that you dread having to go grocery shopping? If you are like me, it's never fun going grocery shopping (surprise, I know). When it comes to picking up produce, I have to go almost every other day to buy fresh produce. Otherwise, if I try to buy produce in bulk, I end up wasting basically half of it because it can go bad quickly. Also, I always end up spending more money on items I don't need while walking around the store. Ordering online helps me add only the items that I need and I'm not tempted to buy the stuff I don't need!       :p

That's where my love of Walmart's new grocery pickup comes in! I can place my order online, pick out the best time for pickup, and go when it is ready! Walmart grocery pickup is the most convenient, time saving, and energy saving way of getting groceries.

I tried it out for myself and was extremely impressed. I placed my order yesterday, and picked my time for this morning. I got a call letting me know my groceries were ready (about ten minutes to the time I had chosen online the day before). I called them back to let them know I was a couple minutes away so they knew I was on my way, and then I called again when I was in the pickup parking spot to let them know which one I was.

All my groceries were brought out by the person who was chosen as my "personal shopper." He was super friendly, and showed me all the produce so I could inspect it first. I really like knowing that if I'm not happy with an item, they will go replace it. Luckily, every item looked perfect and fresh!

Not to mention, all my frozen items were definitely frozen, and placed in paper bags to keep them cooler. The eggs I purchased were in perfect condition, not a single crack! My groceries were loaded into my car by my "personal shopper." For my first time trying out the service, I was given a cute little goodie bag filled with snacks. :) Woohoo!! Who doesn't love free goodies?

I will admit, I'm even more thankful for this convenient option of buying groceries since I haven't been feeling well. Walking is painful the majority of the time, so just being able to drive up and get my groceries helps me out tremendously!
