Goodbye Summer

It's almost time to say goodbye to Summer and hello to Fall! The weather has been getting a little cooler, and the days aren't as long as they were a couple weeks ago.

We had a good summer, but we're kind of ready for the Fall season.

This June we made a trip to Kansas City, MO to visit with family and go to a good friend's wedding. Nathan was one of the groomsmen for his friend Jason. The wedding was a beautiful morning ceremony, followed with a brunch reception.

While we were in town, Nathan's family hosted a fun tiki party! We had an amazing time hanging out with family and friends. <3

July definitely had its ups and downs. We lost two very loved family members, my Grandpa Joe, and my family dog of twelve years, Xander. It's been difficult for me and my family, but we are okay and know that Grandpa and Xander are hanging out together in Heaven.

I'm truly blessed to have amazing support from my family and friends <3

Our ups in July included our friend Dave visiting and attending the car show with us.

And of course we all had to hit up the French Market Creperie:

We also tried the Gelato place next door:

Near the end of July, we had a fantastic time with Nathan's parents, niece and nephews in town!
Even though it was a short weekend trip, we went to Dollywood, Goats on the Roof, Ober Gatlinburg, and took Old Time Photos!

:)

I'm excited for the adventures we'll have in the Fall!
