So Far, this Fall...

Good morning lovelies!

I figured it has been long overdue since I have posted anything on the blog, so here is a very short (and quite boring) recap of what has been going on!

My health has still been suffering greatly. I'm pretty much immobile, and it looks like it may take a while to get any definitive answers from the lab tests & Doctors.  I could sit here and complain and whine about it, but that won't help solve anything or make me feel better, so I won't! My number one priority is to get better! I'm blessed to have the most incredible, supportive family and friends!

To keep me sane while being sick, I've been working on little creative projects and crafts, like knitting!
I was definitely out of touch with the knitting, so it has been a re-learning process. My amazing mother in law has been an awesome teacher and has helped me with some cool projects!
My first project was a new style of wash cloth - I messed up somewhere along the way, but I still love it! Practice makes perfect, right?

I'm working on my next knitting project (Riley is helping too) - I can't wait to complete it and show y'all what it is & how it turns out!

Of course, coloring is always an easy but fun way to pass time!

Also, Nathan bought me this cute DIY string art project! I can't wait to do this project!!

I've been missing out a little on the Fall season and watching the trees changing. My loving, remarkable hubby has been taking me out for drives whenever he gets the chance, so I can see what all is going on outside. Halloween is coming up quickly! That means it is time for some Hocus Pocus and pumpkin carving!!

Chili is a must for this cooler weather! I made a massive batch that will probably last us till the end of next month, if not longer! Hehe!
Chili is probably the easiest thing to make. For this batch, I just threw in: ground turkey, tomato sauce, chili seasoning, black beans, pinto beans, chopped onion, and chopped green peppers into the crock pot and let it cook!

I finally read the highly popular book - "The Girl on the Train." I was sucked in right away, and was held captive through the entire book. It was really good! Now I am ready to see the movie!

The patio is the perfect spot for fresh air, coffee, and reading! <3

Speaking of the patio, Nathan and I added new lighting! The glow is perfect for sitting out on the patio at night, without an overwhelming amount of light.

QUESTIONS FOR YOU:

* Are you ready for Halloween?

* Have you read the book, or seen the movie "The Girl on the Train?"

* What is your favorite chili recipe?
