Completed projects!

Work has been a little slow lately, so I've had some extra free time to work on some projects around the house. Thought I would share some of my completed projects so far! :) 

I was looking for something to go next to our new China Cabinets. My inspiration was the type of decor from the store - Restoration Hardware. I found these trees (only one of the two shown) at Marshall's in Kansas City for only $50 a piece! What I thought was going to be the most difficult was finding the right type of base. We looked around Hobby Lobby, At Home, etc. Finally, we spotted these pots at Home Depot! They are absolutely beautiful! I adore the bumble bee design on them, as well as the cream color. The pots were only $35 a piece! What a deal! 

Lately, I have been refurbishing some old furniture we have around the house. We' have had this black dresser for a long time, so I decided to give it an uplift and put it in the guest bedroom :) 

Completed project: Coral finish & Nautical dresser knobs

Apparently, spray painting things is my new hobby.  :) Below are four flour/sugar containers that we inherited from my Grandmother. They were a stone color before but I wanted to spruce them up! I spray painted them an "Ocean Mist" color.

Another little "hobby" I picked up are adult coloring books! I found this awesome coloring book of postcards!

Besides working on these projects/hobbies, I was invited to check out a free workout group called "Beauty Hunters." Yesterday was my first experience, and it was a lot of fun! Although it rained on us almost the entire hour, we got a good work out in! Check us out!! Woohoo :)

I can't wait to go again next Tuesday! They have workouts everyday, so it will be awesome to go maybe more than once a week! I just have to keep working at it! :)

That's what I've been up to the past week! I'm enjoying keeping busy with all of these projects! It's been so fun and I'm glad to get some stuff actually completed! :) Can't wait to do complete more projects & post them for ya'll!!
