🌷❄️ Sprinter ❄️🌷

Hey y'all!! ☀️ It's a gorgeous but chilly day! Brrrr! It is that awful moment during the season where it wants to be Spring, but also wants to stay Winter = SPRINTER. 😂 Am I right?!

Our magnolia tree is beginning to bloom! 🌷 It's such a gorgeous tree; I can't wait for it to fully bloom & get some more pictures to share! We planted this tree years ago for our 4 year wedding anniversary! 💑

Unfortunately, the hubby and I have both been under the weather this past week. I deal with chronic illness on a daily basis, so I was still able to be somewhat productive.

I treated myself to a "spa day" at home. I love trying new facial masks. Anyone else a mask girl?!
The Herbalife SKIN purifying mint clay mask is a game changer for me! I never had a mask make my skin feel that tight and fresh before! PLUS, it smells AMAZING!!

I am SUPER excited for the next 6 Day Eat Clean Challenge - it begins on the 15th! I lost 7.2 lbs from my first challenge! My goal is to beat my last results! 💪🏼

Isn't it insane what can happen in just 6 days?! Seriously though, you get to join a terrific accountability group; get TONS of information on meal plans, workouts, and more; a chance to win some $$$$ (the last winning pot was over $800)!! It's amazing!

With the challenge starting next week, I just stocked up on some extra goodies besides the delicious shakes! Aloe concentrate (mango), Prolessa Duo, Cell-U-Loss, Probiotics, Beverage mix (peach mango), Fiber (apple), and Sleep Now!

I couldn't wait to try the "Bikini in a Bottle" recipe! 👙 This drink mix will replace one of my protein filled snacks per day!

👍🏼 It tastes yummy!!! 👙☀️

I highly recommend putting all the ingredients in a cup first and then pour 12-16 oz hot water into it. Then, add as much ice as you want to chill the drink. The drink itself can get a little grainy, so the hot water will help break down the powder mix. It tastes really great, so shake it up and drink it fast!

Send me a DM for more information on products, the 6 Day Eat Clean Challenge, etc! 😊

Hey Y'all!

Y'all...I made air fried chicken...and it was DELICIOUS!

Fried chicken is a staple here in the South! It's a southernly sin if you haven't made fried chicken!
The air fryer made cooking up fried chicken extremely easy.

I wanted to make sure the chicken legs had a good flavor, so I picked out a ranch packet and coconut flour to roll them in before cooking.

After tossing the chicken into the basket of the air fryer they cooked for 20 minutes on 360 degrees, then I flipped them over and cooked for another 25 minutes.

WOW! I don't think words can express just how delicious the chicken was!
I could eat this fried chicken everyday! The flavor was on point! The breading from the ranch packet and coconut flour was crispy, not greasy at all, and the chicken came right off the bone.
Nathan's reaction trying the chicken was priceless. Haha, I definitely got praised for the amazing food! He and I both agree that it was perfection!  :)

I'm still Spring cleaning, so while checking out a store called "At Home," I found these kitchen organizers - a corner shelf and undershelf basket. They were each $5.99, not too expensive, so I picked them out and brought them home to try out! I'm pleased with the difference they actually make in my tupperware cabinet!

Much better, don't you agree??

Saturday, I had a DAR Chapter meeting! I love the adorable St. Patrick's Day goodies that were around for our meeting.

Our special guests at the meeting, were Ralph and Rebecca Martin who presented us a program about their ancestors, Robert and Mary Young, and the Battle of Kings Mountain in 1780.

Check out more information on the Battle of Kings Mountain:

I have officially begun volunteering at Young Williams Animal Center! I ran over to Young Williams Animal Center for a couple hours to volunteer this past weekend. It was a slow day while I was there, so I got to spend my time playing with the sweetest dogs!

Bailey

Chevelle
After running errands this morning, I was able to volunteer some more! This time, I got to spend two hours fawning over Stanley! He is the cutest and sweetest little dog! We went for a "walk" and then I stayed with him and gave him love. He appreciated the cuddle session. Hanging out with these awesome dogs is like free therapy! I love it! Good news about Chevelle! She was adopted!! :)

The weather still has been incredibly amazing!

My magnolia tree is blooming even more! Everywhere I go now, I see more and more trees/plants blooming! Spring and Fall are definitely my favorite seasons, especially here in Tennessee!

Question Time:

* Do you or have you done any research on your ancestors?

* Are you more of a dog person or cat person?

* Which season is your favorite?

Spring Preparation

Spring will be here before we know it, and to be honest, I'm ready for it to get here already! I enjoy winter, but I enjoy it much more if there is SNOW. Since we haven't really had a lot of snow, I would rather Spring get here so we can enjoy the warmth, and flowers!!! Tennessee is always beautiful, but especially gorgeous in the Springtime. Everywhere you look there are the most vibrant colors.

With Spring, comes Spring cleaning! To help get your entire house (and/or office) smelling clean and fresh, the Purification essential oil is mandatory! Diffusing the Purification oil helps get rid of odors by neutralizing and purifying the air. You can add some Lemon essential oil with the Purification oil in the diffuser to really add a pop of fresh, energizing, clean air! If you don't care for lemon, try a different citrus essential oil like tangerine!
Purification essential oil also really comes in handy while doing laundry since it helps get rid of odors. Apply a few drops of oil to a wet washcloth and throw it in the washer with your clothes! It is that easy!

I finished up a quick little organization project:

I have had these containers for a while now, I spray painted them the sea-foam green last year, but decided to go ahead and put chalk labels on them!

Have you guys seen the Pantone Colors of 2016?
If not, look here: Pantone Color of the Year
I LOVE the rose quartz and serenity!! They both are such pretty colors!
At the end of last year, I found these pieces below on sale at Michaels. The jewels on the statement piece have that rose quartz color to it!
I put together the necklace, and now I have the cutest Spring statement necklace!

Speaking of rose quartz, I found a rose quartz-ish color of nail polish color by OPI:

I couldn't help myself, I bought it, as well as two other colors...

Suzi Shops & Island Hops; Princesses Rule; Significant Other Color

While out and about, I stopped at Starbucks. I already had my delicious Real Good Coffee k-cup at home before leaving the house so instead of ordering a coffee, I ordered the iced green tea passion tango! How have I not had this until now? A grande is only 80 calories! This tea was delicious and refreshing! It wasn't too sweet or too unsweet either, it was the perfect mix!

I just received my first freebie from BzzAgent! To welcome me to the team, BzzAgent sent me a free Welcome magnet! What is even better is what comes next! BzzAgent will notify you of "campaigns" that you can sign up for (for free) to test out a certain product! They will send you the product and you just have to try it out and share your review!
It's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me!   :)

Last, but not least, I want to congratulate Becca for winning the Real Good Coffee Co. k-cup giveaway!!!

Question Time!

* Are you ready for Spring?

* Have you started your Spring cleaning yet?
